Gergely Bogáyi

PT Iniciou a sua carreira cedo, Gergely deu concertos em todo o mundo, mesmo quando ainda estava a estudar. Ganhou vários dos principais concursos internacionais de piano. 

 Em 2000, foi-lhe atribuído o “Prémio Liszt” pelo Ministério do Património Cultural da Hungria e, em 2002, foi-lhe entregue a “Cruz de Mérito da Rosa Branca” da Finlândia pelo Presidente da República Finlandesa. Em 2004, recebeu o “Prémio Kossuth” do Presidente da República Húngara, o mais alto galardão artístico do seu país natal. É cidadão honorário da sua cidade natal, Vác, e em 2016 foi-lhe concedida a mesma honra pela capital da Hungria, Budapeste.

 Teve o privilégio de tocar nos melhores pianos e nas melhores salas de música do mundo. Inspirado pela influência que pianistas famosos como Liszt tiveram no fabrico de pianos do seu tempo, Gergely descreve-se como uma alma incansável. Alguém que está sempre à procura de melhorar as coisas. Daí a sua ambição em criar o revolucionário piano 

Bogányi. Uma das maiores e mais inovadoras remodelações de pianos de cauda dos últimos 150 anos.

IN Starting his career early, Gergely was playing concerts around the world, even while he was still studying. He has won several of the major international piano competitions. 

 In 2000 he was awarded the “Liszt Prize” by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage in Hungary, and in 2002 he was presented with the “Cross of Merit of the White Rose” of Finland by the President of the Finnish Republic. In 2004 he received the “Kossuth Prize” from the President of the Hungarian Republic, the highest artistic award of his native country. He is an honorary citizen of his home town in Vác and in 2016 he was given the same honour for the capital of Hungary, Budapest.

 He has had the privilege of playing on the best pianos and in the finest music halls worldwide. Inspired by the influence famous pianists like Liszt had on the piano manufacturing of their time, Gergely describes himself as a relentless soul. Someone who is always searching to improve on things. Hence his ambition in creating the revolutionary Bogányi piano. One of the biggest and most innovative grand piano redesigns in 150 years.
